The existing hotel needed a serious upgrade prior to South Africa hosting the 2010 Football World Cup. This was a rejuvenation project that took on several challenges including severe budget constraints and a very unpleasant client.

On top of our design role, we had to produce shop drawings for each individual composite Aluminium cladding panels which were manufactured in China through our own contacts. Overall, it was definitely a learning experience in our office.
