Beaufort St Development
The resulting scheme involved an amalgamation of the two lots planning wise. Essentially, the building was split in the middle whilst appearing as one entity. The southern half had 4 levels while the northern half had 3 levels. All apartment units had views to the city as well as desirable northern daylight. The ground level consists of offices where the two partners intended to operate their separate businesses – an IT office and a patisserie. The element of the ‘billboard’ for the exposure of their businesses which also doubles as public art in the high traffic street was also proposed and was kept in the final scheme.
